Thank you for your interest in The Birdie Break Nest for your little one’s!

We have highly-vetted, background-checked, CPR trained and experienced babysitters on site, ready to entertain and care for your children while you have a great time exploring the Expo.

There will be a bouncy castle, crafts (horse/animal themed), tent camping zone, toys and many other fun things to do at The Birdie Nest!

Details:

*It’s $15 per hour per child (minimum 1 hr payment required) to drop off your little one at The Birdie Nest. All payment is made conveniently through credit card through our Birdie Sitter App at the check-in registration desk right at the door of the Birdie Nest.

*Location for The Birdie Nest is on the main floor at SALON B in front of the PRAIRIE PAVILION

*Please bring snacks, diapers, small blanket (nappers) etc as your child requires.

*Following registration on this page, simply bring your child to the Birdie Nest for drop off/registration at the time you have outlined. If you would like different/more time at the nest, please just come by and let our Birdie gals know and they can accommodate based on capacity/availability.

*If you ever need “At Home” care, we also have babysitters available in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Banff/Canmore across Alberta. Simply download the “Birdie Break” app, available in the app stores.

Birdie Break & Horse Expo Waiver

Birdie Break will provide childcare services to the Horse Expo 2025 attendees. I/We, the undersigned, are the parent(s) of the below named child/children and we agree, in taking advantage of this child care services, to release and hold harmless Birdie Break and The Horse Expo from any and all claims, demands, suits, cost, and charges in connection with or arising out of the child care service, including, but not limited to, bodily harm or injury to our children. We agree to release and hold harmless Birdie Break and The Horse Expo from any and all claims for damage to or loss of any of your property resulting from or arising from being present on the premises. I hereby grant permission for Birdie Break and its Birdie Sitters full authority to take whatever actions they deem necessary regarding my child’s health and safety in the event I cannot be reached or in the situation where time is of the essence; and fully release Birdie Break and its Birdie Sitters from any liability in connection with those decisions, I grant permission for emergency treatment by a rescue squad, private physician and/or hospital or emergency health care facility staff if needed. Any such action will be taken in the best interest of my child and will be reported to me as soon as possible.
